I am requesting your prayers at this time and always. I discovered a lump at the crease of my armpit one night and the next day I was in my doctor's office having it checked out. I found out this past Friday that it is a small breast cancer (ductal carcinoma). It's not aggressive, an "ordinary" kind - Stage 1. Roosevelt and I have met with the surgeon and will meet with a plastic surgeon on this Friday to discuss the different options, be it Lumpectomy, Mastectomy, or BiLateral Mastectomy.
My specific prayer request is that God will reveal which option is best. Please understand that this has deepened my faith in God even more. I stand on His promise, "...that by His stripes, I am healed." There is just some foreigners that have invaded my temple.
The Holy Spirit revealed to me the other day, "It's not a positive attitude that's going to bring me through this, it is my RELATIONSHIP with the Father. My attitude will be reflective of my relationship with Him." Bottom line, I need the effectual fervent prayers of righteous men and women. I need encouragement, not doubt and disbelief.
God is opening too many doors for me stop trusting Him now.
How can you help me? (1) Prayer (2) Prayer (3) Prayer (4) Male or Female - make sure you are having your annual exams done. If you discover anything that is suspicious, have it checked out. If you have not had an exam, make an appointment. (5) Encouragement.
